Visit the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its appearance in many Hollywood movies. Dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi (Merzouga)

After breakfast, drive through the winding Dades Valley, admiring its dramatic rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” Continue to the Todra Gorges, a natural wonder with towering cliffs and a peaceful river running through the canyon — ideal for short walks and photos. In the afternoon, continue toward the desert town of Merzouga, gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, take a camel ride across the golden dunes to enjoy the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp under a starry sky.

Visit the nearby town of Rissani, known for its authentic local market and as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. Drive through the Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s longest river valleys filled with palm groves and kasbahs. Continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable riad or hotel.
