5 days marrakech sahara tours We will come meet you at the Marrakech airport or your hotel after breakfast to pick you up and then leave Marrakesh to start our tour to the Dades Gorges.
To begin, we’ll wind our way through the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the high Atlas Mountains and have short stops to take some photos. Then we will visit the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou which is recognized by UNESCO. It is also a prize setting for famous cinema directors.
Continue our day enjoying the beautiful natural landscapes of the Valley of Roses, which is known for The Festival of Roses. Once we arrive at the peaceful and quiet Dades Gorges we will spend the night in a local hotel. If there’s time before sunset, we’ll also take in a view of the famous geological formation known as the monkey fingers.
After breakfast, we start the tour via Todra Gorge to Merzouga which is known for the highest sand dunes in Morocco. It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. On our way, we will have the chance to see many oases. If we’re lucky, it may be market day in Rissani where we can stop to see the bustling souk with livestock and culinary delights on display.

In this quaint village, we’ll settle in for the night at a local hotel on the edge of the sand dunes.

After rising early in the camp to see the sunrise if you like, your camel caravan will take you back to the hotel in Merzouga to eat breakfast and take a shower. There is a little time to explore Merzouga on foot.
Explore local community gardens with traditional desert irrigation or enjoy a refreshing dip in an outdoor pool under the sun. Our journey then takes us through the palm groves of Draa Valley, ending in Ouarzazate. Here, we’ll have dinner and spend the night.
On our final 5 days marrakech sahara tour together, we’ll explore Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco where film studios are located. As we continue our return journey, you will see the ruins of kasbahs along this ancient trade route.
We arrive at the most well-preserved of Morocco’s kasbahs Ait Benhaddou. This UNESCO heritage site is an incredible vision to behold. We’ll tour the site before heading back to Marrakesh.
