Morocco Tour From Casablanca 10 Days

Today after breakfast you will have a tour of Meknes including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour (the massive gate which is the entrance to the old city) and the Jewish quarter. We depart via Volubilis, the Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss, the holy town. We’ll continue onto Fes where we will have dinner and stay overnight in a traditional riad.

Today our morocco tour from casablanca we will have a guided tour of Fez to discover the old medina with its famous souks, narrow cobbled streets andancient mosques with towering green-glazed minarets. We will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. And, of course, we’ll pay a visit to the famous tannery and the ceramic cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts. We stay overnight in Fez.

After breakfast we will depart for Merzouga through the Middle Atlas region. We will drive through Ifrane, the “Switzerland” of Morocco and the cedar forests of Azrou where we may see some monkeys. When we reach Midelt, we’ll stop for lunch.  We will then follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorge on our way to Merzouga desert. Spend the night in Merzouga in local desert riad.

Today in our morocco tour from casablanca we will explore the Sahara desert area and the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. First, you’ll experience a 4×4 desert tour where you’ll have the opportunity to see the nomadic way of life. We will visit the village of Khamlia to listen to the Gnawa musicians. Enjoy a traditional Berber pizza for lunch. In the afternoon we will ride camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a desert camp with classic Berber tents. We will have a traditional tagine dinner and hear some traditional music.

Wake up early to watch a sunrise over the dunes before making our way back to the hotel/riad for breakfast and a shower. Next, we’ll check out the Rissani market and cross the palm-lined valleys of Tourog and Tinjdad to arrive at the Todra Gorge. Take a walk in the Todra Gorge and have lunch in a local restaurant before continuing to our hotel in the Dades Gorge.

After breakfast we will take a walk in the gorge and then take the off-road track to see the nomad caves.  We will continue via El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the Skoura oasis. Visit movie studios in Ouarzazate and also Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou on the way to Marrakech. We stay in a local hotel/riad near Jamma el Fna square for this night.

morocco tour from casablanca On day 8, we will have a guided tour to discover the multiple facets of the morocco city. Explore in the labyrinth of  narrow streets in the Medina, amongst its famous souks. We’ll also visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech.

In the morning, you have some free time to yourself to explore the famous square and enjoy the street culture around the riad. In the afternoon, we’ll pick you up and make the return journey to Casablanca, arriving in the evening in time for a dinner and an overnight stay in a riad/hotel.
