Our Morocco Day Trips are guided tours conducted by a local, multilingual driver. We pick you up at your riad in Marrakech shortly after breakfast and return you there in the late afternoon.

1 Day Excursion to Essaouira

Take advantage of this day trip to explore the coastal city of Essaouira, rich and diverse in cultural history, having been influenced over the years by Carthage, Rome and Portugal. Visit the fishing harbour, the old Medina and the famous citadel. The local cafes are a seafood-lover’s dream.

1 Day Tour of the Atlas Mountains

We’ll head out of the city into the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Highway. On the way you will visit the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaouis tribe. Continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Travel through country that served as epic scenery for many Hollywood films like “Babel,” “Gladiator,” and “Lawrence of Arabia.”

1 Day Tour of Ourika Valley 

Visit the lush Ourika valley, one of the few remaining habitats of the Barbary macaque. Check out the commune of Setti Fatma, where you can enjoy delicious food and a short walk or hike to numerous waterfalls. Early march is an excellent time to experience cherry and almond trees in bloom.

1 Day Trip to Ouzoud Falls

This day-trip will bring you to the most famous waterfalls of Morocco, Ouzoud. At 110m in height, the falls are a spectacular sight. On this tour, you’ll explore green valleys that are a nice contrast from the bustle of Marrakech. The region is home to many traditional flour mills, olive groves, and the El Abad River.
