We will travel through the mountains together until we arrive in Morocco’s blue city, Chefchaouen. Here we’ll stop for lunch, possibly tasting the local specialty, goat cheese.

In the afternoon, explore the sapphire medina and enjoy Chefchaouen’s laid back, friendly culture. In the evening, we will have dinner and stay at a local riad.

In the morning, we will have breakfast and then continue our journey towards the Ziz valley which is the beginning of palm groves. Depending on the time of your journey, fresh dates may be available.

Erfoud is the fossil capital of Morocco so you will have this chance to visit some of the craft shops of marble workers.

And right after that we drive to Rissani for lunch and a visit to the mausoleum of Mouay Ali Chref or else a stop in the market if we are lucky enough to visit on one of the market day.

In the afternoon we will arrive in Merzouga village, on the edge of Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest sand dunes. After dropping your luggage at a local hotel and enjoying a cup of Berber tea, your camel guide will introduce you to your dromedaries. Next, he will lead you on a camel ride into the heart of Erg Chebbi to our desert camp.

Here you can enjoy a warm, homemade Moroccan dinner and then a campfire under the stars. Try some Berber drumming if you like and then sleep in a traditional nomad tent.

Wake up early if you want to see the sunrise before camel trekking back to Merzouga village. Breakfast awaits at the desert hotel. After you’ve taken a moment to relax and had a shower if you like, we will travel to the nearby village of Khamlia.

Here we will take in a short concert, as Khamlia is an important centre of Gnawa music. We’ll have lunch nearby before saying goodbye to the dunes and heading west into rockier landscapes.

We will arrive at the steep cliffs of Todra Gorge, a world-famous destination for rock climbers. Here we will have dinner and stay the night at a local hotel .
